The Adventures of Hailey

 

 

 

 

We are having such an amazing time watching Hailey grow up...it's going by WAY too fast though. We took her to Hogle Zoo this summer with Uncle Jason and Aunt Alisa. She loved the monkeys almost as much as she loved staying with Uncle Jason! She loves shoes. She can put her own sandals on and is always wearing a pair of my shoes around the house. She also loves playing in the water...especially the hose. She drenches herself just like she did when she was a baby and it's still hilarious. She is also quite the candy thief! She can find candy anywhere in the house and find a way to get it, even if it's in the highest cupboard behind all the dishes! We'll post more adventures later, and hopefully I can figure out posting videos because we've got some funny ones of her.

What's Happening?

Here is our life in a few pictures for the last 2 months or so. Hailey is growing so big and it's so fun to watch her learn and want to try everything by herself. She loves playing with cousins and going to the grandma's houses. She loves 4th of July fireworks and camping (oops forgot the camera for that) and coloring. As for me and Jeff, we're doing well. Just celebrated our 9th anniversary with a fancy dinner and movies and ice cream at home. We feel so blessed to be a family and wouldn't trade a day of it for anything!

I know we're SUPER SLOW lately at getting anything posted, but here's a few Easter pics. Hailey enjoyed the easter egg hunts we did, especially during conference in the family room. That was a great idea that kept her entertained for most of the session. She got a harmonica to play with her dad and they are pretty good at playing duets. Hailey loves it! We're so excited for nice weather and to be playing outside everyday!

Well I thought I better post a quick update for anyone who still checks this! We're still not approved for our next adoption :[ There was a little misunderstanding about who was supposed to send out reference letters soooo, we'll just keep being patient.
On a SUPER happy note....Hailey. She is the best! We're having so much fun with her it's crazy. I tried taking her sledding at my friend Natalie's house a few weeks ago, she liked playing with her boys, but wasn't a huge fan of being out in the snow and sledding. She also has been loving playing with her cousins every week. She and Easton get to play one full day a week and she plays with Logan and Ali a lot too. It's so fun to watch all these little kiddos learn to play with each other. She also had a date day with her daddy a few weekends ago and he took her to watch the Simplot games. I loved how cute she looked in her little track suit and pigtails. Her hair is getting so long and it's beautiful. I still haven't cut a single strand of it.
Hailey is also really into coloring lately. She loves to draw on herself with pen and recently contributed a beautiful new art piece on our kitchen table in blue sharpie. It's really pretty. We're keeping busy and staying happy and we hope it's the same with everyone else!
