Hailey's 1st Christmas

Falling asleep to wait for Santa.
We all slept in the living room by the tree. Hailey and Jeff were out first.
They both ended up on the love seat by morning and Hailey was all smiles!
Merry Christmas morning! She was so happy and stayed awake for a few present openings and then zonked out again. We had such a great day with Hailey, we hope all of you had a great day too!

Home Sweet Home

Hailey finally got discharged from the hospital today! Her O2 levels were pretty steady above 90 for 5 straight hours so the Doctor said we could take her home for Christmas. Now if we can just get little Ali home to Idaho :)
We are so thankful to Heavenly Father for hearing our many prayers and blessing us with Hailey. He really does pour out blessings upon us even when we may not deserve them.
We have such AWESOME friends here and such a great ward family that takes care of us always. We had so many phone calls and our friends brought us dinner tonight; it was just what we needed after a stressful weekend in our little hospital hotel room. Thank you everyone for calling to check on us. We hope you all have a very merry christmas...I'm sure we'll all have lots of pictures to post this week!

Still Here

Yep, still here. Nothing has really changed since yesterday. We're still trying to get her to above 90% on her own......silly little lungs.

Tis the season...for RSV!

Well, happy holidays everyone! We seem to be spending the majority of ours at a lovely place called St. Rose Sienna Hospital. Hailey went back to the Dr. on Friday and needed to be admitted to the hosptial for RSV. We've been here ever since. Her lungs are sounding much clearer today and she is definitely feeling better and wiggling and smiling again, we are just waiting for her O2 to be above 90 on room air so that we can go home. We've been trying every day to leave here, but she just isn't ready I guess. The first time we tried her on room air on Saturday, she went down to like 84 and today she was off for about 1 1/2 hours and it was dipping down to 86, but pretty constant at 89. I keep thinking we are getting closer to going home but I guess it just goes to show you never know! I think she is having sympathy pains for cousin Ali. Well, we did want to share some exciting news too, we are moving back to Pocatello towards the end of January. Jeff will be working at the Center for Orthopedic Rehabilitation with Tom Bates. Anywho, that's all our news for now. Merry Christmas everyone!

Snow Days!

Well, if you haven't heard already, it snowed in Las Vegas!!! It snowed a lot too, we had about 3-4 inches at our house. All outbound flights were cancelled for a day, the freeways were closed, school was closed, the news was dedicated for like 3 continous hours to the snowfall here. I know it doesn't sound like much snow, but when you live in Vegas and there is no snow removal machinery it's a big deal. It was BEAUTIFUL!

Here's a few pictures of our sweet Hailey. She is sick right now with a pretty nasty cold. It is so sad to listen to her, she can barely cry! We hope she's feeling better before christmas!

Prayers for Ali

My sister Amber had her sweet baby girl Ali Amber Moon on December 12th in Pocatello. Little Ali is is really sick though and had to be flown to Primary Children's Medical Center in SLC. Her lungs aren't working right and she is fighting really hard right now to get better. We wish so much we could be there to give Amber and Jeff a hug, but weather and circumstance have prevented that so far. We are all praying for Ali to get stronger and better soon and hope that any of you who know them will keep the Moon family in your prayers this week too!

Photo Update

My family keeps asking for a new post, so here it is! Thanksgiving was great and we are now enjoying the holiday spirit so abundant at christmas time. I just got released from my calling in young womens and am now serving in the relief society again. Jeff quit his 2nd job and right after that he got called to work in the temple one Saturday every month and he loves it. Hailey is starting to jabber a little and she has the cutest, cutest smiles ever! We love to wake up in the morning because she is just smiling from ear to ear when we look over the cradle to see her. She hardly ever cries and is seriously the joy of our lives right now! Enjoy a few of the new photos of her!
