Valley of Fire Marathon

Me. Erin, and Lil' E right before the gun.
Jeff took care of Hailey the ENTIRE weekend for me!
Finally finishing!
My awesome family waiting for me at the end of the race.
I actually had a lot of fun running the half marathon and felt a huge sense of accomplishment at the end. I can't believe that anyone would actually run 26 miles at one time...you all are crazy! I will definitely be running another 1/2 marathon so if anyone has one to suggest, let me know. Jeff was so awesome and supportive. He wouldn't let me wake up with Hailey Thursday night, Friday night, or Saturday night so that I could have enough rest and he got me a massage the night before the race and made me pasta. The day of the race he woke up early to take my picture before I left the house and took care of Hailey the whole race. Then after the race he stretched me out really good (I love being married to a PT!) and gave me a little goodie bag, and took me to dinner. I felt like a princess; and now I feel like a princess who can't walk very well. Anywho, the race was awesome and I'm so glad I did it. Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and suggestions through the whole training process.

National Adoption Day

Today is national adoption day! We have a great celebration day today starting with a pancake breakfast with families supporting adoption. Then we get to have Grandma Cranor and Uncle Jared come to visit and we are having all of our Las Vegas cousins over for chicken noodle soup and rolls. For anyone who has been touched by the miracle of adoption- we hope you have a great day! 1 Heavenly Month!

I can't believe our little Hailey is already a month old!!! Isn't she gorgeous? We still can't believe how lucky we are to have such a little angel in our home.
We have so much fun playing with Hailey. We were teaching her the bengal fight song the other day and she got the hugest smile on her face, it was so cute. I think she's an Idaho girl at heart. :)

And here we have Idaho....

We took Hailey to Idaho this last weekend to meet the rest of her family! We sang the Idaho song for her as we crossed the border and I'm pretty sure she smiled. ;) We were there for Easton's blessing, which was awesome...he seems so big compared to Hailey. Hailey met all the rest of her cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great grandparents. I think she is missing everyone holding her for the entire day. We had a great trip, way too short, and we ran out of memory and battery on our camera so we don't even have pictures of all the cousins! I wish we could have spent more time with everyone and seen all of our friends up that way too, oh well. Hailey did awesome on the long drive...pretty much slept the entire way. Anyway, Idaho was great! Thanks everyone for loving Hailey so much. FYI: November is National Adoption Month so check out some of the adoption info links. I love the Families Supporting Adoption site, they have a great post on "positive" adoption terms that we should all be more aware of. Check it out on the sidebar.
