OK, what a day already! I just heard from our case worker and our home study got moved to the 8th of April...one day after we get home which may end up being a little crazy but our case worker said not to be too worried about having boxes laying around. Next, I'm going into business with Jeff's sister Jenn and we are going to be making/selling vinyl lettering products. Today was our big purchase day so I've got a lot of new adventures ahead of me. Wish me luck with all of them!
Well, it's set! The last part of our approval process, the home study and interview is scheduled for April 15th! I tried calling to see if we can get it the day after we get home on the 8th, but haven't heard back yet. I'm so excited!! Within the next month we'll be approved and have our web profile up for you all to see on itsaboutlove.com! One more week in Tooele, wow it's gone by soooooo fast. -L
Well it's official we've decided on a vacation spot. Jeff really wants to go camping so we are going to Zions for a few days in April because we've never been there. If anyone wants to join us we'll be going like the 9th-12th. Also if anyone has ever been there and has suggestions on campgrounds or hikes, I'd love to hear. -L
I just had to update really quick because I'm so excited! Jeff found out last night his groups research paper will be published in a physical therapy journal in June! That is pretty awesome his group worked really hard on it. Way to go Jeff!
First, most of you have probably noticed all my background changes....it's so fun, I'm addicted I think. Second, you may be wondering why we haven't gone to a private blog yet...we talked about it and decided that we're keeping it open because in about 3 weeks we'll be approved as an adoptive couple(hopefully) and if some beautiful, courageous young woman is looking for us and wants to know more about us, this is a great way. Third, we just found out Jeff doesn't have to be back to school until May 1.....woooohooo! So if anyone has any great and relatively cheap vacation ideas let me know. I already looked at Mazatlan, too much, unless anyone has a hook-up there(which should be Jeff since that's where he served, but he doesn't)so any comments would be greatly appreciated! -L
I've had such a great week! My mom came down and spent the week and we shopped and crafted and relaxed and I've been able to go to a different temple each weekend this month and we got to spend a night in a hotel with Jeff's family and we got to watch the Joseph Smith movie, and today is St. Patrick's Day and I get to eat corned beef and cabbage and it is almost spring! What a great life. We'll actually get to experience about 1 week of spring before we head back to the heat of Las Vegas. Only 3 weeks until Jeff is done here.....I can't believe how fast time goes. Happy St. Patricks day, I hope everyone wore green and ate green eggs and ham!
Just thought I'd post a pic of some of the crafts I've been filling my time up with. It's been really fun, but I'm still REAAAALLLLYY slow at cross-stitching, I don't think I'll ever get my blanket done!
Jeff & I decided that we'd like to keep our blog open only to our close friends and family now, so that means I need you all to e-mail me your e-mail addresses.
