Backyard Water Fun

Who knew a garden hose could provide so much entertainment for us? Don't mind the loud mama laughs, sometimes I forget I have the camera right in front of me. Hailey seriously played with the hose for about 30 minutes and was pretty cold and soaked when I finally turned it off! I can't believe summer is almost over. :(

Official: Part 2

Here's some of my favorite pictures from the temple. Isn't Hailey gorgeous? She was so smiley while we took pictures and loved eating ice out of the cooler. Thanks everyone who helped us have such a great day and everyone for sending us your love!

OFFICIAL: PART 1

What an amazing day we've had today! This morning we had our court case for the adoption finalization, this top picture is Hailey and Jeff waiting for the judge to come in. The hearing went smooth and well...other than I lied about my age on the stand! When the attorney asked me my age for the record I said 29 and everyone looked at me funny and I realized I'm only 28 and quickly corrected myself. Glad they didn't toss me in the slammer for it. :D When the judge granted our adoption and started signing the papers Hailey started clapping. It was hilarious. She was very excited for our picture with the judge and gave us a classic Hailey shout.
We went to the temple this afternoon and were sealed to Hailey and it was awesome. She looked so perfect and beautiful. It was honestly one of the most amazing days of my life. I feel so incredibly blessed to have Jeff and Hailey as my family, sometimes it seems unreal. My best friend Kim took pictures for us at the temple so I'll post those pictures after we get them, but for now here's our official Miss Hailey Ray Davenport!!!!!

Growing!

It has been so long since I posted anything! I don't have all of our pics downloaded yet, but here's a few of our growing little girl. She liked being out with daddy in his new "woodshop" out back...she only got scared a few times of the loud saws!
Hailey is the best napping partner. She always has a huge smile waiting for you when she wakes up, I LOVE her smile! She has also gotten her top two front teeth in and is getting a 3rd bottom tooth. Honestly I wish I had a picture of her top teeth, they are so stinkin cute! Right now there is still a little gap while they're growing in, so she totally looks like a Davenport. She also won't stop grinding her top and bottom teeth together. It drives the mama absolutely crazy -like fingernails on a chalkboard- but I don't know how to get her to stop. :(
Hailey is also crawling all over the place, which I love. She is so happy now that she can scoot around and we frequently hear her laughing at how much fun it is to move. Consequently, she is now into everything and loves dumping her treats all over the floor. She loves to stand at the tub and knock the shampoo bottle in, she loves to stand at the door, play in the tupperware drawer, play the keyboard, climb stairs, climb our kitchen shelf, climb people, climb anything, "bark" at the dogs and pet them, get chased by mommy and daddy, and most of all she loves to just be outside. Jeff and I have been surprised at how big she's gotten and how quickly. It still seems like last week we brought her home from the hospital. She is such a miracle. We also have our court date set for the finalization and the temple date to be sealed together; July 28th! We are so excited!

Life, Las Vegas, and Buffalo Wild Wings

We took a trip last weekend back to Las Vegas to visit Buds family and see our old friends. We had a great time! Hailey did so good on both flights, she was very hot which made her cheeks stay nice and pink the whole time, and of course she loved playing with her Vegas cousins. She is also very happy that the weather is nice here in Pocatello so she can be outside swinging or getting her toes licked by Sadie. We definitely have ourselves an outdoor gal and can't wait to go camping!
Buffalo wild wings, how do we live without you here in Pocatello? We HAD to make a stop there and Jeff missed it so much he decided to take the blazin wing challenge with Bud and little E. It was the most entertaining dining experience I have ever had. They were all so excited and pumped to start, then they had to sign the waiver and got a little nervous, then they saw the stack of 12 blazin wings and got a little more nervous, but they pushed through the incredible amount of sweat, tears, burning and pain, and they got their photo on the wall! I still can't look at that picture of Jeff without laughing. He was sweating like crazy and if you look you can just see the tears all down his face and the skin around the sauce starting to burn. Oh, we love you Buffalo Wild Wings and miss you terribly.
