Time Flies

We've been saying for a few days that we really need to update our blog and our FB pages with pictures and all of the exciting news in our lives; then we realize we don't have super exciting lives. But anyway, I swear I can't keep up with the growth of Hailey. That girl is amazing and smarter than a 12 year old. She has no fear issues and I'll prove that with the following examples:
1. Climb out of your tree swing buckles by yourself.
2. Climb to the top of the ladder which ends at the top of the roof.
3. Ride your bike as fast as your little legs will push you.
4. Touch the snake at the zoo like it's a fluffy little bunny.
5. Jump off of the trampoline by yourself.
6. Go down the fire pole at the playground.
These are just a few of the things that are turning my hair gray. (I haven't actually found any gray hairs, but I think my heart has stopped a few times). She LOVES her balance bike and cruises around on it everyday. She is really good at it and is pretty safe, and extremely cute riding it.
We've got an eventful summer of camping trips, visiting Las Vegas, swimming, bike riding, and lots of park time-they'll all be fun!
I feel so lucky to have this amazing little girl and of course my best friend as my husband to go through life with. We're hoping for lots of pictures in all of the next posts which may or may not appear until 3 months later :)

March...Really?!??!

Can it seriously be March already? I don't know where the time is all going, but I can definitely say it isn't being wasted around here. We had a really fun time celebrating Jeff's 31st birthday this year. It's been pretty fun for birthdays recently because Hailey LOVES to sing happy birthday to everyone. February Jeff and I had the most incredible date weekend ever! We got to go to Utah and take Hailey to the discovery museum (hello, running and touching everything and not getting in trouble for it? She was in heaven!), then Jason & Alisa took her for a sleep-over while Jeff and I went out for dinner then to the Jazz vs. Suns game...6TH ROW! It was so much fun and Hailey loved her very 1st sleepover. Since then, we've just been busy with church callings, working, and trying to stay happy in all this snow. I may or may not have asked Jeff several times to move me back to Las Vegas ;) Spring weather please please please come soon.

Update

I guess it's about time for an update! These are some of my favorite recent pics. The last is Hailey in her new princess jammies that Grandma D. made for christmas. (sorry i can't figure out how to flip it) She think's it's a halloween costume and not jammies, but she sure likes to dress up in them. We all had such a great christmas being around our families. We even got to see Bud's family for a few days before christmas. Hailey loves her cousins, all of them! Anytime we are headed to a grandma's house she says "my cousins there?" It's so cute. Hailey rang in the new year trying to sneak out and play games with us, but we kept sending her back and she ended up falling asleep in the hallway. She's so cute. Some of the cousins were over at our house and all had candy bracelet's on one day. It was so cute to see them all in a circle just chowing down on their wrists! We went bowling for Uncle Mike's birthday last week and all the kids sat patiently waiting their turns...for about 1 minute! Then we were off chasing them in every direction the rest of the time, but they had fun. I still can't believe 2011 is here and January is half over...Jeff's almost 31! We hope 2011 brings everyone happiness, and us another little one ! ;)

1st's

We finally got Hailey her 1st real haircut the other day. She loved the pink cadillac she got to drive!

We had our first real snowstorm of the year today so dad helped us all get out and enjoy it! We made a pretty sweet snowman. Hailey really enjoyed the snow and liked singing the snowman song the whole time. She is seriously growing WAY too fast for us!

Happy Halloween,and National Adoption Month!

Halloween was so fun this year! I love that Hailey likes wearing her costume all over, even last year she loved having a costume on. We were going for a "Charlotte's Web" theme with Mr. Zuckerman, Charlotte, and Hailey as Wilbur, but the Piglet costume just didn't work for it so we were simply a farmer, a spider, and piglet. Hailey loved "trick-or-treater"ing as she called it and really liked handing out candy. Except to the mean scary wolf that came to our house. She's a candy girl for sure and she even chooses suckers over chocolate. What?! Anyway, this month is also National Adoption Month and we are INCREDIBLY grateful for adoption and glad we get the opportunity to work with an organization called Families Supporting Adoption (FSA) to promote a positive image of adoption in our community. We are the activities chair people and it's keeping me extremely busy this time of year. Hope you all had a great halloween and don't forget to spread the word about adoption!
