New Photos

Ok, so I'm not ambitious enough to actually go find the camera and download pictures yet, but if you want to see some cute pics of Hailey go to www.annepearsonphotography.com/blog to see the most adorable little girl. Her pictures are titled Little Miss H, New Toof Drool, and So Loved. Oh my heck, I love this little one. She is SO MUCH FUN! I think she's starting to get sick again...happens a lot with kiddos huh? I'm still not unpacked; holding out for new shelves in my closet before I put clothes away!

Moving..again!

Yep we're moving again. Only this time it's to our very own HOME! We bought a house on Ebony in Pocatello that we both loved the first time we walked through and we'll be moving in on Monday, even though we close on it today...long story. I feel like life has been extra crazy this year and hopefully things will start getting back to normal for us soon. Sorry we still haven't posted any new pictures; we are borrowing everyones computers.
Here's a list of all that Hailey has been up to that I wish I could show everyone:
She got her first tooth!
She started rolling over.
She started laughing-oh my goodness it is like music!
She tries to "run" when we hold her up.
She loves her little activity saucer.
She laughs every time her cousin Emily jumps on her bed and sings.
She has 3 adorable cousins all the same age that she loves to lay by and smile at.
She finally has rolls on her thighs, oh I could just eat them up!
She is growing so fast we can hardly believe it.

We made it!

We're here! After a very long 12 hour trip, we pulled in to Chubbuck at about 10:00 last night. We were exhausted! Hailey did great on the trip, she pretty much slept while we were driving and ate every time we stopped so our stops took a little bit longer than normal. We also got to stop in SLC to see our niece Ali at Primary Childrens. She is so cute, I can't wait for Hailey to meet her! It is freezing here, of course, and I am already sad about that. It seems a little wierd to think we aren't just here for a visit for a few days...more like visiting for a few years! We have a lot of work to do today and tomorrow we start looking for houses. Thanks everyone for all the help loading, cleaning, babysitting, packing, driving, calling, feeding us, and everything else you've done.

Leaving Las Vegas

Well, I can't believe we only have 4 more days here in Las Vegas! It all seems like it's coming so fast. I haven't written too much about moving and some of you have wondered why we are leaving, so I'll try to jot down some of the thought process that went into this decision. Both of us have always said that one day we would like to end up in Pocatello or Idaho somewhere and we even talked about Jeff working home health so that I could live my dream of summer in Idaho- winter in Las Vegas; but that would be hard for Hailey. Really, I think we just felt like we were ready for something more and Jeff had his dream job offered to him at the right time. That makes it sound like it was easy to decide, but it was much much harder for us to decide to move than either of us anticipated. It took us a LONG time...almost 2 months to decide what we needed to do. We have loved Las Vegas and would have loved to raise Hailey here, it is such a great place with great people, but we felt like we needed to be back in Idaho. Anyway, the memories and growth we have had here will always have a tender spot in our hearts. We learned so much, grew closer to each other, relied more on our Savior than ever before, and of course our greatest miracle happened here: Hailey.

So we are enjoying the last few beautiful sunny days here (although we're mostly inside packing) before we hit the cold winter of Idaho. I told my dad I'm going to spend all day tomorrow in my swimsuit, but I just realized it's already packed along with the shorts. Guess I'll settle for capris and a t-shirt! We hope Idaho is ready to have us back....see you soon!

Oh, and of course no post is complete without a picture of Hailey :)

I just can't resist!

Seriously, who can resist these smiley faces? Hailey is smiling SO MUCH now, we love it. I swear she laughed at me the other day too. We love this little gal more than we ever knew we could.
By the way, we are totally not ready to move to Idaho. I have 7 boxes packed...7. Wish us luck!
